What this costs to run.
A facility floor of this size is not free to maintain, and the honest way to read the list above is alongside the maintenance fee. M Amaya's is RM0.33 per square foot, stated as inclusive of the sinking fund. On a 990 sq ft Type B that is about RM327 a month, every month, whether or not you use the pool.
Two things worth asking before you treat the list as a benefit. First, the rate is "as per approved memo" — memos are revised, and a sinking fund that is set too low early gets corrected later. Second, 41 facilities on one deck means 41 things to clean, staff, insure and eventually replace. Ask what the management budget assumes, and ask what happens to the rate if take-up is slower than planned.
